REFLECTING ON 2021 AND LOOKING FORWARD TO 2022

We have endured two years of lock down during the pandemic and have overcome the challenges that come from work- ing from home: maintaining communication with staff and clients, keeping up with the ever-changing policies for COVID procedures to keep our staff safe, and dealing with a volatile economy. Despite these challenges, Reyes has continued to thrive. We have maintained steady financial growth for the past three years and we are on target to meet our strategic goals. We have a lot to be thankful for.

I am optimistic about the future of Reyes Engineering. As an MBE/DBE certified firm, our company mission is based on diversity and creativity. We live this mantra with our inclusion, social equity, and diversity within our staff as well as the community we service. We seek to be united with the community that we serve.

Looking toward 2022, Reyes has focused on building a strong leadership team to continue to guide this company forward. This includes a strong culture of mentoring, education and training. This focus on our team enables us to cultivate the creativity, sustainability and innovation as we address challenges in the market. The global economy and supply chain issues have impacted construction schedules and cost for our clients.

We remain committed to our focus on quality for our clients with the addition of a Quality Manager to the Reyes team. Rick Harrison joined Reyes in the fall of 2021 to lead and mentor the staff and develop our Quality Program to ensure we adopt a “Continuous Improvement” culture. Rick’s mantra of quality management means that quality must be an integral part of how the design team approaches every project.

With an engaged Senior Leadership Team and our focus on our clients and how we can best serve our community, Reyes is poised to build our relationships through quality project delivery and grow our expertise in the markets we serve. I am encouraged by the transformation that 2022 will bring and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue striving to be the electrical engineering firm of choice to our clients.

Sincerely
