In 2007 Reyes Engineerign Inc. won an IESNA International Lighting Award for the lighting design of Lane Transit Districts’ Springfield Station in Springfield, Oregon. Reyes Engineering provided the electrical, power, telecommunications, security and lighting design for the brand new transit station. The project included a new plaza area between the bus shelters/platform, a 5,300 square foot, single story building for tenants (LTD, restaurants and retail), eight new bus shelters, kiss and ride roundabout, pedestrian walkways, and parking stalls. Also incorporated is a storm water treatment bio-swale system within the bus platforms area.
